The Tikkunei Zohar tells us that shureq is "hidden and concealed." It's connected to Yesod, the "Righteous One," which represents the brit (בְּרִית), the covenant. Think of the covenant as a sacred agreement, a binding promise. And within that covenant lies a "hidden light," a raz (רָז), a "mystery." Interestingly, the numerical value of raz and aur (אוֹר), which means "light," are both 207. Isn't that a fascinating connection?
