"Your seal and your cord and your staff." The holy spirit flashed within her. "Your seal" — this is kingship, as it is said: "As I live, says the LORD, though Coniah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, etc." (Jeremiah 22:24). "And your cord" — these are the Sanhedrin, who wrap themselves in their prayer-shawls. "And your staff that is in your hand" — this is the Messiah, as it is said: "The LORD will send forth the staff of your strength out of Zion, etc." (Psalms 110:2).
