Whether one lights many thousands of myriad candles from it, or whether one lights nothing from it at all, there will not be any consequential changes in the lamp itself. This is also similar to Adam the first man: Whether he had fathered thousands of offspring like us today, or whether he had not fathered anyone at all, this would not have effected any change whatsoever in Adam the first man himself. Likewise, there is no change at all in the world Atzilut in and of itself, God forbid, whether the lower creations receive its shefa in great abundance or whether they receive nothing from it at all. All of this growth applies solely to the lower creations.
