Midrash Shmuel 14:1

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His counsel unto His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7). "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing" — this is Joseph, "and Joseph said unto Pharaoh: The dream of Pharaoh is one" (Genesis 41:25). Another interpretation: "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing" — this is Daniel, "then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a vision of the night" (Daniel 2:19). Another interpretation: "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing" — this is Moses, "and Moses said: Thus saith the LORD: About midnight" (Exodus 11:4).
