When the Righteous Faint and God's Consolations Delight the Soul

"When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul" (Psalms 94:19). The Assembly of Israel says before the Holy One, blessed be He: From the multitude of my iniquities the righteous among me fly off and faint. And at the hour when the elder sits and expounds that the death of the righteous is an atonement for them, for Israel, in all the places of their dwellings — at that hour, "Your consolations delight my soul."
