Ten Beasts and the Sacrifice From Your Own Trough

Midrash Tanchuma Buber, Emor 13:3

Another interpretation of "And how have I wearied you?" (Micah 6:3). Rabbi Judah bar Simon said: I handed over to you ten beasts, three within your reach and seven not within your reach. These are the ones within your reach: the ox, the sheep, and the goat. And these are the ones that are not within your reach: the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the mountain-sheep. I did not burden you, and I did not tell you to climb up the mountains and to wear yourselves out in the fields to bring before Me an offering from those [that are not within your reach], but rather from those that are within your reach, that grow up at your feeding-trough. This is what is written: "An ox, or a sheep, or a goat" (Leviticus 22:27).
