On This Very Day the Torah Is Always Newly Given

Pesikta DeRav Kahana 12:21

"On this day they came to the wilderness of Sinai" (Exodus 19:1). But did they come on this very day? Rather, when you study My words, let them not be in your eyes as old, but as though the Torah were given this very day. It is not written "on that day," but "on this day" (ibid.). In this world I gave you the Torah, and individuals toiled in it; but in the World to Come I will teach it to all Israel, and they will learn it and not forget it, as it says, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My Torah within them, and upon their heart I will write it, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people" (Jeremiah 31:32). And not only that, but I will increase peace among them, as Isaiah said, "And all your children shall be taught of the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children" (Isaiah 54:13).
