Sinai as a Foretaste of the Redemption Still to Come

Pesikta DeRav Kahana 5:16

Rabbi Nachman and Rabbi Eleazar bar Rabbi Yose and Rabbi Acha. One said: the Holy One, blessed be He, said to Israel: My children, you have a renewal of redemption destined for the time to come. And the other said: the renewal that is destined for the time to come, you have it here already. Just as in the time to come, "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened" (Isaiah 35:5), so here too, "And all the people saw the thunderings" (Exodus 20:15). Just as in the time to come, "And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped" (Isaiah 35:5), so here too, "And they said, all that the LORD has spoken we will do and we will hear" (Exodus 24:7). Just as in the time to come, "Then shall the lame man leap as a deer" (Isaiah 35:6), so here too, "And Moses brought forth the people to meet [God]" (Exodus 19:17). Just as in the time to come, "And the tongue of the mute shall sing" (Isaiah 35:6), so here too, "And all the people answered together and said" (Exodus 19:8).
