"And the children struggled together within her" (Genesis 25:22-23). Rabbi Yochanan said: this one ran to kill that one, and that one ran to kill this one. Rabbi Shimon ben Lakish said: this one would loosen the commands of that one, and that one would loosen the commands of this one. Rabbi Levi said: do not say that only once he came out of his mother's belly did the adversary attach himself to him; rather, while still in his mother's belly his fist was already stretched out against him.
