Solomon's Ten Lampstands and the Lamp of Moses at the Center

Yalkut Shimoni on Torah 369:5

Our Rabbis taught: Solomon made ten lampstands, as it is said, "and he made the lampstands of gold, ten of them according to their ordinance, and set them in the Sanctuary, five on the right and five on the left" (2 Chronicles 4:7). And if you say five to the right of the entrance and five to the left of the entrance, then we would find a lampstand in the north; but the Torah said, "and the lampstand opposite the table" [on the south side]. Rather, that of Moses stood in the center, with five to its right and five to its left. Solomon made ten lampstands, yet they kindled only that of Moses, as it is said, "and the lampstand of gold with its lamps to burn every evening" (2 Chronicles 13:11). Rabbi Elazar ben Shammua says: they kindled all of them, as it is said, "and the lampstands with their lamps to burn them according to the ordinance before the inner shrine, of pure gold" (2 Chronicles 4:20).
