Another interpretation. "A faithful man" (Proverbs 28:20) refers to Moses. Over every matter for which he was made treasurer, they were blessed through his hand. Why? Because he was faithful. "But one who hastens to be rich" (Proverbs 28:20) refers to Korah, who was a Levite and yet sought additionally to seize the High Priesthood.

דָּבָר אַחֵר, "אִישׁ אֱמוּנוֹת", זֶה מֹשֶׁה, עַל כָּל הַדְּבָרִים שֶׁנַּעֲשָׂה גִּזְבַּר עֲלֵיהֶם הָיוּ מִתְבָּרְכִים עַל יָדוֹ, לָמָּה, שֶׁהוּא נֶאֱמָן. "וְאָץ לְהַעֲשִׁיר" זֶה קֹרַח, שֶׁהָיָה לֵוִי וּבִקֵּשׁ עוֹד לִטֹּל כְּהֻנָּה גְּדוֹלָה.
