But do not ask me what I will do, for I will not reveal it to you until the things that I do are completed."
Then Uzziah and the princes said to her, "Go in peace, and may the Lord God go before you to take vengeance on our enemies."
So they returned from the tent and went to their posts.
Judith fell upon her face and put ashes on her head and uncovered the sackcloth she was wearing; and, about the time that the incense of that evening was offered in Jerusalem in the house of the Lord, Judith cried with a loud voice, and said,
