Rabbi Meir on the Many Slain by the Strange Woman

Midrash Mishlei 7:1

... From here you learn how severe is the punishment of transgression; and not only that, but concerning it Solomon prophesies (Proverbs 7:25): "Let not your heart turn aside to her ways." Why? "For she has cast down many wounded." What is written after it (Proverbs 7:26): "Her house is the way to Sheol," and so on. From here Rabbi Meir used to say: Happy is the one who keeps his heart far from a married woman and from transgression, and who calls to wisdom; for because he calls to wisdom, he is answered with understanding.
