"And now, behold, the king walks before you, and I have grown old and grey" (I Samuel 12:2). This is one of five expressions that are doubled: "I have grown old and grey" (zakanti ve-savti); "my witness and my testimony" (edi ve-sahadi); "my judgment and my justice" (mishpati ve-dini); "wild ass and onager" (pere arod); "his bones and his frame" (atzamav garmav).
