Another interpretation (of Exodus 31:3): AND I HAVE FILLED HIM. Joshua, who came from the tribe of Joseph, was also filled with a spirit of wisdom, as it is said of him (Deuteronomy 34:9): NOW JOSHUA SON OF NUN WAS FILLED WITH A SPIRIT OF WISDOM. And Othniel son of Kenaz, who was from the tribe of Judah, was filled with the spirit of God, as it is said (Judges 3:10): AND THE SPIRIT OF (GOD) [THE LORD] CAME UPON HIM. And all this was by virtue of the blessing with which Moses blessed this tribe, as it is said (Deuteronomy 33:7): AND THIS IS FOR JUDAH; [AND HE SAID: HEAR, O LORD, THE VOICE OF JUDAH, etc.]. The Holy One, blessed be He, said to Israel: in this world My spirit was placing wisdom within you, but in the world to come I Myself will teach you, as it is said (Ezekiel 37:14): I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, AND YOU SHALL LIVE.
