Rabbi Aibu said: "The month has come." At the time the Holy One, blessed be He, revealed Himself to Moses, He made a condition with him and said to him, "When you bring the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God upon this mountain" (Exodus 3:12). And Moses was watching and saying, when will it come? He did nothing else; but as soon as the appointed time arrived, the Holy One, blessed be He, said to him: The month for which you were watching has come — "In the third month" (Exodus 19:1).
