These You Shall Do and the Torah Hinting at a Second Day

Pesikta DeRav Kahana 28:10

"These you shall offer to the LORD on your appointed times" (Numbers 29:39). Rabbi Chanina in the name of Rabbi Tanchum son of Rabbi Yudan: it does not say here "these you have offered," but rather "these you shall offer to the LORD on your appointed times" - the Torah is hinting to Israel and saying to them, "a second day." Rabbi Berechiah in the name of Rabbi Abba bar Kahana: it is written, "And you shall keep this statute in its appointed time" and so forth (Exodus 13:10) - the Torah is hinting to them and saying to them, "a second day." Rabbi Judah son of Rabbi Simon: it is written, "Look down from Your holy dwelling, from the heavens" (Deuteronomy 26:15). What is written after it? "This day the LORD your God commands you to do" (Deuteronomy 26:16). And what is the connection of one to the other? Rather, whenever Israel do the will of the Holy One, blessed be He, and bring out their tithes properly, and they are able to say, "I have removed the holy portion from the house" (Deuteronomy 26:13), the Holy One, blessed be He, hints to Israel and says to them, "a second day." "And you who cleave to the LORD your God are all alive this day" (Deuteronomy 4:4).
