Between Her Feet He Sank and the Serpent's Defilement

Yalkut Shimoni on Nach 55:4

"Between her feet he sank, he fell" (Judges 5:27). Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai: That wicked one [Sisera] forced himself upon her seven times, as it is said, "Between her feet he sank," and so on. But did she not derive benefit from a transgression? Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai: As a rule, the good that comes from the wicked is an evil thing for the righteous, as it is written, "Take heed that you speak not to Jacob either good or bad" (Genesis 31:24). The "bad," very well; but why the "good"? Learn from this that even the good of the wicked is an evil for the righteous. There [with Laban and Jacob], perhaps he might speak idolatry to him; but here, what evil could there be? Because he casts defilement into her. For Rabbi Yochanan said: When the serpent came upon Eve, he cast defilement into her. Israel, who stood at Mount Sinai, their defilement ceased; the gentiles, who did not stand at Mount Sinai, their defilement did not cease.
