The Oath Upon the Throne Against Amalek

Yalkut Shimoni on Torah 267:2

"And he said: For there is a hand upon the throne of the LORD" (Exodus 17:16). Rabbi Joshua says: when the Holy One, blessed be He, will sit upon the throne of His kingship and the dominion will be His, in that hour there shall be war for the LORD against Amalek. Rabbi Eliezer says: the Holy One, blessed be He, swore by His throne of glory: if I leave a descendant or grandchild to Amalek under all the heavens, so that people should not say, "This camel belongs to Amalek," or "This ewe belongs to Amalek." Rabbi Eliezer says: the Holy One, blessed be He, swore by His throne that if one from any of the nations of the world comes to convert, Israel shall accept him, but from the house of Amalek they shall not accept him, as it is said (2 Samuel 1:13), "And David said to the young man who told him: From where are you? And he said: I am the son of a sojourner, an Amalekite." At that moment David recalled what had been said to Moses our teacher, that if one of any of the nations of the world should come they would accept him, but from the house of Amalek they would not accept him, "And he said to him: Your blood is on your head, for your own mouth has testified against you" (2 Samuel 1:16). Therefore it is said "from generation to generation." Rabbi Isaac said: it was Doeg the Edomite. "Your bloods" is written; he said to him: much blood you have spilled in Nob, the city of priests.
