Who Set a Mouth in Adam - God Answers Moses at the Bush

Midrash Aggadah, Exodus 4:11

"Who placed a mouth in man" (Exodus 4:11). The Holy One, blessed be He, said to him: Who placed a mouth in man — for he gave names to all the creatures, and produced for them a name in seventy tongues? As it is said, "And the man gave names to all the cattle" (Genesis 2:20). Another interpretation: "Who placed a mouth in man." When I said to him, "Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you," etc. (Genesis 3:11) — did I not give him a mouth, and he answered Me and said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me," etc. (Genesis 3:12)? And concerning My children, who are in great distress — how much more so shall I give you an opening of the mouth! "Or who makes a man mute" (Exodus 4:11). At the hour when Pharaoh seized you when you slew the Egyptian, and he sought to kill you, did I not make for you an advocate before Pharaoh? And likewise his officers — I made them lame and blind and mute. And if there is in Me power to do harm, to do good is how much more so — yet you say, "I am not a man of words" (Exodus 4:10).
