Another interpretation: "a rich man is wise in his own eyes" - this is Pharaoh; "but a poor man who has understanding sees through him" - this is Moses our teacher. Another interpretation: "a rich man is wise in his own eyes" - this is Esau; "but a poor man who has understanding sees through him" - this is Jacob.
