"My mouth is enlarged over my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation" (1 Samuel 2:1). Rabbi Abbahu said: This is one of the verses that speaks of the salvation of the Holy One, blessed be He, and of the salvation of Israel. Rabbi Pinchas in the name of Rabbi Yitzchak: They were called divine beings, as it is said, "I said, you are gods" (Psalms 82:6) — and [it speaks] of the salvation of the Holy One, blessed be He.
