Another interpretation (of Proverbs 28:22): "A man with an evil eye rushes after wealth." This is the one who lends at interest, who is in a frantic haste to grow rich. He lends in order to collect interest from the borrower, and he grows rich from the interest. But a curse is set within his possessions, "and he does not know that want will come upon him."
