Another interpretation (of Genesis 15:1): "After these things [the word of the LORD came to Abram] in a vision, saying: Fear not, Abram." This is what Scripture says: "Then You spoke in a vision to Your pious ones" (Psalms 89:20). This refers to Abraham, as it is said, "in a vision, saying."
