Another interpretation of (Proverbs 31:25): "Strength and splendor are her clothing." This is Moses, as it is said (Exodus 34:29): "And Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone." (Proverbs 31:25:) "And she laughs" — these are the scoffers of Israel, who were mocking behind Moses, saying: Is it possible that the Shekhinah should rest upon the handiwork of Moses?
