At first, He expels them, and after He pursues them, He captures them, after which He kills them.
And re-vi’a ֗, shnei grishin ֞, and shalshelet ֓, are the horn-blasts te-qi’ah, she-varim, te-ru’ah.
She-varim: (Ex. 23:24)... you shall surely smash (shaber) their idols. These are they of whom it is stated: (Job 1:6)... and the sons of ELQYM came, to stand ‘upon’ ∞’al before Y”Y... in judgement concerning Israel and the Shekhinah, of which it is stated:... and the Satan also came among them... (ibid.) – this is Samael, who came to accuse the Children of Israel, and to judge the Shekhinah. And since he sought judgement, concerning Shekhinah and His children, it is as if he stood ‘over’ Him.
