"Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother" (Genesis 32:12). [Read:] from the hand of Achi, who came against me by the power of Esau. For at the time when Isaac sent Jacob to Paddan-aram, Esau dispatched a man after him whose name was Achi. "Lest he come and smite me, [the mother with] the children" (Genesis 32:12). You said in Your Torah: "You shall not take the mother together with the young" (Deuteronomy 22:8).
