Why Jacob Never Went to Seir and the Mount of Esau

Midrash Aggadah, Genesis 33:14

"Let my lord pass over" (Genesis 33:14) — because you are not afraid of anything. "And I will lead on gently" — for the commandments are not performed in bundles upon bundles. "Until I come to my lord to Seir" — We searched through all of Scripture and did not find that Jacob went to Esau at Mount Seir. And is it possible for Jacob to deceive him? Rather, when will he come to him? In the time to come, as it is said, "And saviors shall come up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau" (Obadiah 1:21).
