"Benjamin is a ravening wolf" (Genesis 49:27). This is what Scripture said: "Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He has revealed His secret to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7). In the beginning the secret belonged to those who fear the Lord, as it is said, "The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him" (Psalms 25:14). He went back and gave it to the upright, as it is said, "But His secret is with the upright" (Proverbs 3:32). He went back and gave it to the prophets, as it is said, "Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He has revealed His secret to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).
