"And it came to pass on the eighth day" (Leviticus 9:1), and so forth. This is what Scripture says (Psalms 75:5 [4]): "I said to the boastful, 'Do not boast,'" and so forth. What is the meaning of "I said to the boastful (holelim), do not boast (tahollu)"? It refers to one who sings amid the dance of Mahanaim, and likewise it says (Judges 21:21): "to dance in the dances" (lachul ba-meholot).
