"And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother" (Genesis 27:11) — for the awe of his mother was upon him. "Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man (ish sa'ir)" — as it is said, "And hairy ones (se'irim) shall dance there" (Isaiah 13:21). "And I am a smooth man (ish chalak)" — as it is said, "For the LORD's portion (chelek) is His people" (Deuteronomy 32:9).
